Also locally called speckled perch or “specks” and considered as the preferred of the “perch jerkers” or crappie fisherman that chase them. These swift striking fish fall for an assortment of lures – everything from small spinners and jigs to live minnows. They gather together in large schools and once sited, provide the angler with plenty of battle and a wonderful fish fry.
Without hesitation the most desired after game fish is the Florida largemouth bass. Whether fishing in a contemporary bass boat or from the bank, the Florida largemouth bass is the key target of the bulk of anglers. Loads of these lure busting monsters in the 10-12 pound array are taken each year in native waters.
Camera, cap, RAIN GEAR, sun screen and further such things. A medium – heavy action rod with 20lb. test braided line and a little tackle box is all that is required for artificial lure fishing.
