Southeast Adventures does not raise farm gators. We only hunt wild alligators. They have excellent eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell and should be treated like the dangerous game they are. These hunts are extremely hands on and provide an exhilarating adventure. That is why it is important to hire a safe and professional guide.

Public water’s hunts are conducted throughout the state on bodies of water, which are designated as harvest units by the Florida’s conservation commission. The State of Florida provides 4,000 + harvest permits, which are available on a first come, first-served basis. These hunts are only conducted from August 15th through November 1st of each year. We handle all aspects of this hunt for the client.

The hunts are conducted on an airboat at night. The legal weapons for “public water hunts” are compound and re-curve bow, cross bow or harpoon for the initial shot and a bang stick for the harvest. The number of alligators you see depends on the weather. On a good evening you should see several hundred and less then 50 on a not so good night.

$900 client’s tags our gear and boat. Public land hunts your tags our gear. One night of hunting for two hunters. First two gators over 7 ft. One hunter must be a licensed trapper and other must be his agent to participate in the hunt. Processing is not included in this package; however is available upon request.

$1,600 regular alligator hunt. Our tags, licenses, boat and gear. Includes one night of hunting for one person. One guide and all transportation to boat and hunting areas. One alligator 6-8 feet. Processing not included in this package; however available upon request.

$2,500 trophy alligator hunt. Includes two full days of gator hunting for one person. One alligator 8-10 feet. Any alligator over 10 feet will be an additional $500 trophy fee. Sizes and trophy fees will be discussed prior to hunt. All licenses, transportation needs and one overnight of lodging, processing of gator hide and any meat the client requests are all included.

We recommend that you bring a cooler for any meat and skin transportation.

There is no guide fee; however a $100 deposit is required on all hunting packages.
